My original portfolio — a retro-cinematic photography portfolio built to explore what's possible with scroll-driven storytelling. Each scroll triggers a new cinematic reveal, making browsing feel like watching a film.
Creating scroll-triggered cinematic effects that feel smooth and purposeful, not gimmicky. The challenge was balancing the theatrical scroll experience with actual usability and content clarity.
Implemented layered parallax effects tied to scroll position, with film-grain overlays and vintage color grading applied via CSS filters. Performance was carefully managed to keep animations at 60fps.
