Ilea is a streetwear brand built on authenticity and self-expression. I was brought in to translate their 'Wear Your Truth' brand identity into a digital experience that feels as bold and real as the clothing itself.
Ilea came to me with a clear vision and a powerful brand statement: "Wear Your Truth." My job was to translate that into a digital experience that actually lived up to it.
Streetwear is a culture before it's a product. The website had to feel like an extension of that culture not just a store, but a world. From the first second, you needed to feel the brand.
I started with the hero experience. Full-screen imagery. No clutter. The photography was strong, so I designed around it rather than over it. The type was bold and editorial confident without being aggressive.
The color system was built from the brand's identity: predominantly dark, with sharp accent tones that cut through like a highlight. Every color decision was intentional there was no room for generic here.
Navigation had to feel smooth. Streetwear customers are often mobile-first and move fast. I built the product catalog with efficient filtering so users could find what they wanted quickly, without losing the premium feel of the brand.
Product pages were given editorial treatment laid out more like lookbook pages than a typical e-commerce grid. Details mattered: stitching, texture, fit. The design made room for those details without overloading the screen.
Page transitions were kept smooth and intentional no jarring cuts. The experience needed to feel like moving through a physical space, not clicking through pages.
The result was a site that felt as authentic as the brand. Ilea didn't just get a website they got a digital identity that matched who they are.
This project reminded me why brand alignment is everything in design. A product is just a product until you give it a world to live in.
Streetwear brands live and die by their aesthetic. The site needed to feel edgy and immersive without sacrificing usability. Product discovery and the checkout flow had to be seamless.
I built an immersive landing experience with full-screen imagery, a bold editorial layout, and product pages that highlight the details. The color palette rooted in dark tones with sharp accent colors mirrors the brand's raw energy.
